STRENTGH + YOGA

 

Doug Jefferies, founder of Results Gym, was inspired by his own yoga practice and his experiences in personal training and strength conditioning. His desire to combine the two philosophies resulted in the creation of STROGA. Both Functional Training and Yoga help people gain mobility and flexibility, increasing their performance in sports and making them more agile in everyday life.

The perfect space to house the STROGA concept was found at 1808 Adams Mill Road (the L’Aiglon Building) located at the junction of Columbia Road, Adams Mill and 18th Street. Dating back to the early 1900’s the building has a rich history as both a private residence and commercial property. The building’s fine woodwork, stained glass and plaster moldings were preserved by STROGA, maintaining the integrity of the space and creating a unique environment for your Yoga and strength training practice.


Yoga-

 

STROGA offers a wide variety of Yoga classes for every student. From the creative moving meditation of Vinyasa Flow, to the energetic and dynamic practice of Rocket Yoga, you will feel inspired and motivated to explore your Yoga practice in a safe and joyful environment. In addition to group Yoga classes, we also provide private lessons, workshops, and custom special events, perfect for any occasion or celebration.


Group fitness-

 

STROGA takes fitness to the next level in our 4,500 sf functional training studio, providing ample space for group classes up to 20 students or individual training session. Utilizing the three planes of movement – front-­to-­back; side-­to-­side; and rotational, functional training strengthens our everyday movements while increasing agility and endurance. With classes of all levels running weekly, work out with the pros to improve your way of motion.


Cycling

 

This is an exercise class focusing on endurance, strength, intervals, high intensity (race days) and recovery. This involves using a special stationary exercise bicycle with a weighted flywheel in a classroom setting. Classes run weekly and are usually 45 minutes long. Get ready to burn up to 800 calories a session and tone those legs!


Personal training-

 

Get personalized attention from a certified fitness professional so you can reach your personal goals. Build strength or endurance for a competition, lose weight or just be your personal best. Personal training packages are available in 5, 10 and 20 sessions and small group training is also available.
